Glass-fibre reinforced (frp) piping utilises a highly chemical and corrosion resistant vinylester or polyester resin manufactured in composite layers with fibreglass reinforcing. The resulting piping system has high strength and yet is light in weight when compared to metals.

Frp systems are suitable for chemical and physically aggressive environments and will provide a long service life. They are suitable for a wide range of applications, operating at temperatures up to 115°C and at working pressures of up to PN25.
